From oh-no to oh-yes for all hair loss babes out there

12 Steps to Cope with Alopecia

Hair loss can be an incredibly emotional and challenging experience, especially when it happens unexpectedly. As an illustrator, I wanted to visualise this journey by creating an animated pattern that captures the struggles and triumphs of those who experience alopecia. My own experience with alopecia began in 2010, during a class trip when I found my first bald spot. By the time I graduated, most of my hair was gone—a deeply personal and difficult process that impacted not only my appearance but also my entry into the workforce as a creative designer.
